LAND USE: Redesignation from the Residential – Contextual One / Two Dwelling (R-C2) District to the Residential – Grade-Oriented Infill (R-CG) District was approved by City Council at the July 5, 2022 Combined Meeting of Council.

DEVELOPMENT VISION: The Land Use Redesignation and concurrent Development Permit would enable a development vision that includes a new 2-unit Semi-Detached building with a total of 2 Backyard Suites located above 2 detached double garages. The site will include a total of 4 vehicle parking stalls accessed via the rear lane, one stall for each Primary Dwelling Unit and Backyard Suite. Similar to the R-C2 District, the intent of the R-CG District is to accommodate low-density residential, grade-oriented development in a variety of forms, including Semi-Detached buildings with Backyard Suites. The Development Permit (DP2022-00785) was approved on July 29, 2022.
